We offer the following Information to assist you with your first “POP-UP” YOGA CLASS:
I believe in offering a shared authentic experience which means I often move as you move; I explore sensations in my body as I invite you to explore sensations in yours. All forms guided are simply invitations; you are encouraged to practice what feels right to you even if it is entirely different than the form(s) offered.
I endeavor to offer modifications/variations/options throughout each class and encourage you to listen to your body as you make choices about which movements you explore.
Wear comfortable clothing.
I recommend that you purchase your own mat and supportive props such as blocks, straps and/or blankets. If you attend any classes in person, please bring your own supplies as we will no longer be able to provide them.
In-person classes will be held in Craig Hall at the Church of the Good Shepherd, located at 1100 Stockton Street, in Riverside. If you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell or having symptoms which have been linked to Covid-19, please join us via Zoom rather than in person.
Hydrate before and after class.
Please turn off/silence cell phones. Even as you practice in your homes, we encourage you to create a quiet, uncluttered space to allow your practice to be nourishing and peaceful.
Please bring any injuries or health concerns to my attention before class begins. If you are Zoom, you can reach out to us by email (see below).
Respect and honor your body during practice.
Show up, as best you can, with an open mind and an open heart.
