Dates/Times: For this series, we will meet in-person at the Church of the Good Shepherd on the following Saturdays in 2023 - 2/11 and 2/25 from 10:30a - 2:00p.

Details: In this workshop, we will continue to build upon the foundations we explored in the Introductory Mindfulness Training by doing a deeper dive into some of the teachings and practices we explored and by weaving in additional practices to notice where we get stuck in expectations and attachments, to explore what obstacles get in the way of our access and receptivity to our present moment experiences, and to build the muscles of concentration, joy/compassion, and loving awareness.  In addition to the training sessions, resources will be offered for support and practice throughout our time together.

The format will be as follows:

1st Session (2/11/2023)

            10:30 – 12:00          Insight Meditation

12:00 – 12:30          Mindfulness of Eating (Mindful Lunch)

12:30 – 2:00         What gets in the way? How to get unstuck . . .

2nd Session (2/25/2023)

            10:30 – 12:00        Expectations and Attachments

12:00 – 12:30          Mindfulness of Eating (Mindful Lunch)

            12:30 – 2:00           Joy, Compassion + Gratitude

Please plan to bring something to nourishing to eat for your lunch on both days, as we will explore some mindful eating practices.

Registration is limited to those who have attended the Introduction to Mindfulness Training with @bonniecurrie or to those who have at least six months of a regular mindfulness practice.

To enhance community and connection, space is limited to 12 participants (with a minimum of 6 needed to hold the training).
